20 Wooden Christmas Ornaments Ideas Inspiration

I love Wooden Christmas Ornaments, even when they’re produced in bulk commercially each one is slightly different and therefore unique from the others. The two show pieces in our collection is of a mother and baby elephant hand carved from one solid piece of driftwood and a pair of giraffes each one individually hand carved from bamboo. In this article I showcase these exquisite pieces of handcrafted fine art woodworked ornaments, along with a couple of examples of simple wood lathed pieces; and offer you the opportunity to choose and buy your own handcrafted wood ornaments, ideal as gifts for your loved one, friend or relative.

20 Lenox Christmas Ornaments Ideas Inspiration

I like to have some unusual Lenox Christmas Ornaments on my tree to make it more unique. A few years ago I found an All Black Father Christmas to hang on the tree – it looks awesome – bear in mind my hubby’s a rugby playing, All Black supporting Kiwi. The following year I found a kangaroo peeping out of a Christmas stocking to hang on the tree – bear in mind that my daughter is Australian. I think having special things on your tree helps to make the Christmas even more special. I see so many trees with the same ornaments and baubles hanging from them that I get very excited it I see a unique Christmas tree decoration. Finding a Christmas tree decoration that is perfect for a particular person is also fantastic. Both my hubby and daughter loved their Christmas baubles.

20 White Christmas Ornaments Ideas Inspiration

White Christmas Ornaments Ideas – Having lived in the South for most of my life I have to primarily recall the vivid and happy memories of playing in the pristine white snow and watching growing icicles hanging from our rooftops and blue spruce trees in the yard. A little bit of that frosty winter weather was symbolically brought inside and hung onto our Christmas tree by way of icicle ornaments and also snowflake ornaments each year and to top it off the beautiful voice of Bing Crosby singing I’m dreaming of a White Christmas resonated in our home along with other songs of the season.

15 Gold Christmas Ornaments Ideas Inspiration

Gold Christmas Ornaments – Since decorating pine trees with red apples and hanging wreaths of holly with red berries became a Christian tradition, another color was added to give even more significance to this tradition. This additional color is, gold. It represents the gift of gold from one of the Three Kings. It also signifies the gift of eternal life. Gold like red and green, also has both positive and negative cultural meanings. Gold or its base color yellow, can mean both bravery or cowardice. It can also mean both life and sickness. However, its Christmas meaning is that of the richness of eternal life.
